Conveniently located off RR 620 about halfway between Hwy 71 and RR 2222, you’ll wind your way a short mile down a nearly forgotten tree lined road. Private drives, mailboxes and gates are the only indication that cliff-hanging homes might be buried deep within the wooded estates. White stone columns and a brick paver drive beckon your entry. The wrought iron gate slowly swings open… your first indication to leave the bustling world behind. As you enter the grounds, and meander down the shaded circle drive, the gate calmly closes, forcing the stress, worry and concerns to remain outside. Try to deny it, but you simply can’t help but feel a blanket of calmness overtaking you as you make your way to the front door.

The entire home is a conflux of textures and materials… stucco, stone, wood and iron on the exterior… smooth finished, faux painted walls, hardwood floors, open beams, polished imported stone steps, iron work, arched tile ceilings, solid knotty alder doors, and granite meld the interior to create a unique mix of Spanish, Tuscan and Mediterranean. Each room is impeccably finished in every detail.

Elegant but inviting… sophisticated but casual… this home is perfect for living and entertaining. Perched high on a cliff, nearly every room has an unobstructed view of the lake. Step out onto the imported tile patio and you’re immediately drawn toward the water. Day or night, winter or summer… the view is absolutely stunning. A cascading waterfall invites you to cool off in the pool. A covered arbor provides protection for the full service outdoor kitchen and serving area. Dine al fresco with a breath-taking backdrop of Lake Travis and the Texas hill country. Finish off the evening with a relaxing soak in the spa as multi-colored lights dance across the lake casting long soft reflections off the water below.

The water and another world lay waiting below. Get your exercise for the day by taking the switch back stairs or take a seat and enjoy a smooth easy ride on the tram. Either path has its advantages. A trip on the tram allows you to scout the lake and beautiful scenery. The stairs will get your heart pumping as you follow the cliff-side down to the dock below. A shaded deck midway down is the perfect spot to relax with your morning coffee as the birds and squirrels play in the trees. Both paths take you to a gigantic two story dock fully equipped with everything you need to stay the full day if you so desire.

You can travel the world but you’d be hard pressed to find another spot that provides such a relaxing and tranquil setting.

Magnificent Home - A True Gem

"We stayed at La Bella Vista Del Lago in June '09 and absolutely loved it. The home is beautiful, looks even better than the photos, and is well stocked, comfortable, and clean, with a decorator's touch in furnishings. The views of Lake Travis are breath-taking. The outdoor kitchen and pool area was perfect for our family barbecue. Our stay was definitely a "10" - even making the arrangements for our visit was handled professionally. We highly recommend this home for your visit to the Austin area."
